I worked for a Chinese simulator game for a really long time, this provided me with a wide array of experience with Unreal Engine and C++. The company worked on designing realistic quality maps inside UE 4.25/4.26. Where our goal was to create replicas of real world golf maps.

MY ROLE

At the Beijing Shije Foundation, I was promoted from an assistant game programmer (where I also did level design) to a Senior Game Programmer. I was tasked with creating the MiniBay Builder system for easy 3D object creation in the editor. Mr. Wu and I completed it in a month

We simplified the designers' workflow by automating 3D model creation. Instead of using 3dsMax, we traced objects from Google map images and imported them directly into Unreal
